Rules and Regulations

  • Vacations: There are three vacations during the year. The summer vacation in May, the Puja vacation in October and the Winter vacation. These holidays may not be extended and anticipated. Students who don’t abide by the rules expose themselves to disciplinary actions. Saturdays are holidays unless otherwise notified.
  • Students are reminded to address their teachers and members of the staff, teaching and non­teaching with due respect and politeness. On their way, to and from school, they are expected to behave in a gentle manner with due honour to the name of the school.
  • Students who are absent from the class must have the reasons for their absence briefly noted in their “Regularity Record” Reasons of a private nature may be intimated by a letter. Birth days, excursions, urgent business are not sufficient reasons. Absence from school in order to study is not allowed. No leave of absence is given without a prior application in writing from the guardian.
  • Students must be punctual in class. To be admitted to the classroom, the absentees and the latecomers must show their teacher their regularity record duly countersigned by the school authorities.
  • No student is allowed to leave the school premises except on the strength of a written request from his/her guardian and due authorization, by the school authorities.
  • No books, periodicals toys or newspapers of any objectionable nature shall be brought into the school. All books for private reading must be submitted to the school authorities for approval. J
  • Pupils are responsible for the safe custody of their books and belongings. Each article should be marked with the pupil’s name and class.
  • Any damage done to the school should be made good by the pupil’s concerned.
  • Parents / Guardians are strictly not allowed to see their children or interview the teachers during the school hours.
  • No fines of any kind or collection of any purpose whatsoever may be made without the Secretary’s prior permission and due notice to the parents.
  • Every student attending the school is obliged to take part in the singing, drill, games and all other school activities.
  • Periodic assessments held during the year are notified through school calendar.
  • Regarding all question of promotion and failure, the Secretary’s decision is final.
  • Admission is granted at play house stages to the students who have completed the age of two years.
  • Distribution of admission forms starts from October. Interested guardians can contact the school office in the same month during the school hours.
  • New candidate must be introduced personally by the parents or by the one who will be responsible to the Secretary for their conduct and fees
    They will be tested according to the standard immediately below that to which they seek admission.
  • Before withdrawing a student from the school a / month’s notice is to be given on a month’s fee in lieu of notice. No leaving certificate will be issued until all dues of the school have been paid in full and then only on receipt of a written application from the parents or guardians. The leaving certificate will be given free of charge if taken immediately otherwise a search fee of Rs. 30 will be charged.
  • There is no promotion on trial.
  • The Secretary may at his absolute discretion require any parent at any time to take his/her ward out of the school.
  • The School fees cover 12 calendar months and may be paid in monthly installments or in advance. No reduction is made for holidays or broken periods. Pupils are liable to be charged full fees as long as their names are officially on the rolls. Fees once paid are not refundable.

  • Fees are to be paid in advance before the 10th of each month failing which a late fee of Rs. 5 will be levied upon per day, cumulative to a maximum of Rs. 50 per month.
  • Pupils whose fees are overdue maybe barred from appearing for an examination and are liable to be struck off from the rolls, if so decided by the management.
  • Fees of May (Summer Vacation), October (Puja Vacation) and December months must be paid in advance before the school closes. All the dues must be paid before the assessment examinations. All payments are to be made in cash.
  • Every student must wear a clean uniform daily.
  • Each Student will have a uniform as follows :
    Boys : Light Grey half sleeve shirt with HA monogram on the pocket. Dark grey shorts and dark grey pant and dark grey tie (for Sr. Classes).
    Girls : Light Grey half sleeve shirt with HA monogram. Dark grey frock for K.G. Section. Skirt (Class-Ill onwards).
  • White socks & black shoes should be worn regularly to school and white keds and T-Shirts for Preparatory Yellow Colour, Class -I, II, V, & VI Red Colour, Class III, IV, VII & VIII Green Colour, Class IX & X Blue Colour on PT days. Plain grey pullover or Black Blazer (Class V onwards) with HA monogram for winter. Belt with HA logo can be obtained from school.
  • All books should be covered with covers bearing the name of the school and all exercise books must be school exercise books.
  • Each boy must have a copy of the school diary and bring it to school daily. Losing the school diary is serious fault.
  • Parents and guardians are requested to co-operate with the school authorities ;
  • By urging their wards to be regular and punctual in attendance
  • By not engaging private tutors except through the School Authorities. It is the policy of the school as a rule to discourage tuition as they may prove injurious to the real progress of the pupils. No request for tuition will be considered after the Mid Term Examination.
  • By seeing that their wards are diligent at their homework and lessons.
  • By insisting on neatness and cleanliness in maintaining their text books, exercise books and personal appearance and personal appearance.
  • Parents can meet the teachers to discuss their wards’ performance in School according to the following schedule on prior intimation through their wards’ or if intimated by the School Authorities : P/H Class-IV Every Friday after 11 :10 a.m. Class V-IX Every Friday after 4:25 p.m.
  • Admittance into the School premises is at the sole discretion of the School Authorities. The School Authorities, therefore, reserve to themselves the right to refuse the admission to anyone without assigning any reason whatsoever.
  • Ordinarily communications with parents / guardians are made through the school diary. Parents, Guardians are requested to go through the school diary and to sign the remarks / comments made by the Secretary or the Teachers. Communications should be addressed to the Secretary.

Office Timing

The School Office will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily except Sundays and other Public Holidays.
The Secretary can be met only by taking prior appointment.
